Palm WI-FI card says it needs 7MB of space on the zire 72?? ?

When I read the PDF file for the palm zire 72 WI-FI card it said that in order to use the wi-fi card you need to have 7 MB of space on it! It never even came with that much space when I bought it! Is this a typo? Cause I am looking forward to buying it soon and I would want to put it in and have it say there isn't enough space on my handheld? HELP!
