FIOLLEGEAN This is the title of an old song, possibly Irish and likely a sea chantey. Do you know the lyrics?

I have a recording of this song, but the lyrics, which are a mix of English and Gaelic, are nearly impossible to decipher. Has anyone come across this traditional/folk song? It appears to be about a man named Fiollegean who might be a cook aboard the ship. One fragment: "He could plant kale and cabbages." It also mentions that he will do any man's work for him, including staying at the wheel during storms when the captain goes below. He seems to suffer a downfall when liquor takes its toll on him. I know this will get silly answers, but perhaps someone knows about the song and can help me.
