Why do many women perpetuate ist stereotypes and then complain about "gl ceilings"?

I got love for everybody, but quite honestly, there seems to be quite a difference in priorities between my female friends and male friends (ya ya, sample size sucks, w/e). For example, while occupying the bathroom in my guy friends' places, I often see The Economist and the day's WSJ lying around. Enter one of my girl friend's places, and I see tons of Allure, Glamour, and similar mags. Why do women subjugate themselves and then blame men for the subjugation =(?
