How lonq do people usually stay lack tose & tolerant for ?

im lactose & tolerant .. uhh i found out when i was 11 in 2006 . now im 14 almost 15 & im not sure if its okay to eat anything dairy without taking lactaid? that pill .. but okay & like idk if i grew out of it or not but i wanna start eating dairy without the pill. soo wat yall think ? am i overrr this .. oh yea & when i took the lac tose test a whilee ago they said i was ' severly ' lac tose & tolerant so idk.
