Why are people reacting like this to me?

To begin with, my cl was running on the subject of honesty. I decided to say something instead of being placid while time flies, so I said, "Speaking of honesty..... Deep beauty may cloak such artful deception." My clmates went into a labyrinth of confusion & started to show injustice for me. Another time, at one point, my clmates asked a concise question about how many friends do I have. I started to have chide in thoughts & answered, "Lonliness will set my mind in hopes of knowledge." I suppose that prejudice exists these days. Please explicate with sensibility.
