Is my husband having a gay affair? Experienced only please reply.?

My hubby works in the city and comes home on the weekends. We have a daughter together whos just under 2. Ok so I phoned him to see if he was on his way home (We dont see eachother for a week) He then said yes he was off work but he was visiting Mr. G. Now Mr. G is younger than me, and is a gay y crossdresser who is a spiritualist and a flirt. Mr. G is also a friend of my husbands mothers so we dont know him very well, but now that I think of it my hubby talks about him quite a bit. they went to a concert in the city together (hubbies mom went too though) about a month ago now, and I didnt know until he told me. (I was mad when I found out.) But now his mom doesnt hang out with Mr. G anymore as she relocated to another province and my hubbies still going to see Mr. G? I'm really livid right now because do straight as nail guys hang out with super gay guys? Can a super Gay flirty guy and a straight guy be just friends that visit eachother for a few hours or is something up? Not only that why would he not just want to come directly home after being on the road a week? My husband did admit to me he did have a experience once in his early 20s but he isnt gay. Has anybody else experience in this issue? I need people to reply that actually have had experience with this issue thank-you.
