I found a strat can and he does nothing but sleep. Is he sick?

He is a really sweet cat - maybe a little over a year old, but he just sleeps all the time.. he's up for a little while at night, but that's it.. I still have to ge him his vaccines yet, and his appetite and everything seem fine, but he is always sleeping and his eyes are always watery.. Could there be something wrong with him?
